Quilted Heirlooms

The quilts above were made by Andrew's Grandma Melton. Her quilts are a work of art, they are so pretty. The above quilts were made for Andrew and his sisters, Jill and Anne, for when they were little and Brett has been so gracious to let Baby Cobb use them as well. Thanks, Brett!

There is not a lot to update on, other than that Baby Cobb is doing well. At this point, no news is good news. So, I thought I would write about what stage the baby is currently at and other things Baby Cobb is going through.

The crown-to-rump length of Baby Cobb is about 4.4 to 4.8 inches and weighs about 3.5 ounces. For a more realistic image, it is about the size of your hand spread open wide. It should have all its finger and toes, including its fingernails. The eyes are now in a more normal position on the front of the face instead of on the side, where they start out. I have also begun to feel it move or what I think I feel is movement. The doctor says that our baby pretty active. So, I often picture Baby Cobb doing the front stroke around in my belly. After all, what else is there to do besides swim and grow!

Finally, we are getting closer to knowing if Baby Cobb is a girl or boy. We currently have no names picked out but hope to start looking more in depth when we know the sex. Three weeks from this Monday we will have our first look at Baby Cobb through the ultrasound. If I can rearrange my schedule it might only have to be two weeks from Monday. Whenever, the appointment, we couldn't be more excited. This means we can finally start buying stuff. Let the shopping begin!
