For those of you who do not currently have children; Beware! of the choices. We started the registry process this past weekend and oh the decisions. It's overwhelming! I thought I was prepared. I can't tell you how many nights/hours I've spent researching this and that. For me, it's fun, but overwhelming. Cloth or disposable diapers, BPA containing or BPA-Free bottles, Organic or Regular, consumer ratings, safety ratings, and it goes on and on. Of course, it's not a perfect world and you can't make all the right choices. However, I'd like to try and get it right the first time. Hopefully soon I will make my choices and finalize a couple registries.
No real updates right now. I am at 21 weeks, which is about 5 1/2 months. We are currently trying to think of names. So, we are open to any suggestions. I still can't really feel movement. At this stage, I should be feeling it. So, I guess I do and don't realize that that is what it is. Our next appointment is August 4th. It will be pretty uneventful just a check up, no ultrasound. Back to researching.
The past years have been quite eventful. In November 08, we welcomed our daughter Kelsey Marie and in April 12, we welcomed another daughter Evie Lynden. Ever since it has been a whirlwind. When I think about it, our lives have always been a whirlwind. We've been married almost eight years, moved five times; once across state lines, purchased three homes, traveled to many places and states, and the list goes on.

The Results are In !!!
Per our Poll, the majority predicted that it was a Boy. However, IT'S A GIRL!!! Andrew knew with out a doubt that she was a girl. I, on the other hand, had no idea. I kind of thought she might be a boy. I was wrong. The ultrasound experience was quite amazing. Being able to see her little body for the first time was miraculous. The technician confirmed that she has all her fingers and toes and is currently a healthy little girl. Although, she only made the 23rd percentile in size. This means she is a little small for her age, but the OBGYN said it's nothing to worry about. Andrew and I are so excited and can't wait to begin decorating and preparing for her coming in November/December.

New Editions
As you can see above, I am continually getting bigger. I am 18 weeks now. Over the past weeks, we've had some exciting new editions. Not only are we expecting but we've purchased a new car and began collecting some items for Baby Cobb. The items above are a collection of gifts from friends and family. Including a beautiful crib that was hand built by Andrew's Grandad Melton. Also, there is a Puff the Magic Dragon book, which is one of my most memorable childhood stories, except my dad would sing it to me. This will be a fun way to pass on a memory to Baby Cobb. "Dad, it even came with a CD." Of course, I am sure Baby Cobb would rather have Grandpa Jones play guitar and sing it to him/her. We also purchased a Honda Pilot and LOVE LOVE LOVE IT so far! It's perfect for baby and Alice. We'll all have our own seat! So many new things are happening right now. This weekend we are putting a new roof on our house and Monday at 9:00 a.m. we find out if Baby Cobb is a boy or girl. So, get your vote in soon!!!
